MISSISSIPPI MUSEUM OF ART NATIVES GARDEN JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI
This public garden is one component of the Museum’s effort to integrate more elegantly with its surrounding urban fabric. The garden extends the Museum’s front door to the street. The grade change along this entry procession is terraced into steel and concrete planting trays showcasing native soils and flora. A raised concrete fountain organizes the planting trays and doubles as a bench woven into the garden.
